Rudolph

Ryan has this little stuffed Rudolph.  Lyla has been obsessed with it lately.  She wants to snuggle it, play with it and hold it all day long.  Ryan has used it to his benefit for sure.  He has gotten suckers from her from her class, his room clean, his chores done and many other things.  He keeps telling her she has to do things for it.   I kinda wish he would just give it to her.

Tonight, Ryan agreed to let her sleep with it.  She was laying with me and then Lyla and Max began laughing and playing.   They only play at about 9:00p when it is time for bed.   Max was making the Rudolph talk during this game.   Lyla was laughing so hard.  The Rudolph was a dentist and trying to look in her teeth.  He was going to climb on her face.  He was walking, he was talking, he was doing everything.  It was actually quite funny. At one point Rudolph even died and Max gave him CPR.  He did a full demonstration of how to perform CPR.  It was so hilarious.  I couldn't stop laughing myself.   After he came back to life, then Lyla threw him over the couch and he went behind the back.   Max said "oh no, you threw him in the Grand Canyon"  Lyla asked what that was and he told her what the Grand Canyon was. It was such a good description of the Grand Canyon.  Then he proceeded to walk down the stairs to the Grand Canyon.  He went behind the couch and pretended to walk down stairs.  He looked just like he was walking down the stairs.   Lyla was laughing so hard that she could hardly stand it.  She adores Max and loves it even more when he plays with her.

They completed their game of Rudolph and Lyla gave him a huge hug and called it a Lyla hug.  They were so cute.  I loved the way they played and laughed.  It was nice to just sit with my little people and enjoy them and their imaginations.

I am sure that tomorrow, Lyla will bug him about playing again.     Hopefully, it will be before 9:00 p.m.   :)
