He earned it ...

Max has been playing baseball for the last month. For the first couple of weeks he played outfield.  He was getting a little frustrated that he wasn't playing in field.  I could tell he was a little mad.  Then He got his chance.  He got to play third base.   He got an awesome play.  Runner on second, runner on first.  Ball hit to him, he got it and touched his base.  He knew exactly what to do!   He has been eyeing third base since he started playing baseball, but never got the chance to show he could do it.  Since this awesome play, he has been playing third base every game! Hooray!  He has had many more awesome plays and outs.  He has truly earned the third base position.  I am proud of my Max for being so amazing!   And for trying so hard to earn this position.  He does love playing third base and being part of the game!
