There was a time..

There was a time that Jen and I slept outside of the Delta Center in order to purchase Garth Brooks tickets.  That was funny.    We hung out all night long and I was so young.    Online ticket purchasing took the fun right out of that!

There was a time that I rode a horse in a field and the horse stepped on a pheasant and bucked me off.  I didn't ever think that I would get on a horse again.  I did and it was fun.

There was a time when Jen and I would drink so many Dr. Pepper in the can.  We would watch Days of Our Lives and drink our lucious Dr. Pepper.  Delicous! 

There was a time when the floor fell out in my car.  I drove a VW bug that needed a lot of work. One day my friends and I were at the U driving to something and I had some fruit and some feet on the front floor of my car.  The fruit and the feet were too heavy and the rust had gone through the floor.  The floor fell out and was dragging on the ground. I laughed really hard.  I laughed just as hard when it rained and rain would pour on my lap when I turned the corner.  My friends didn't think this was as funny as I did.

There was a time when I punched the evil sheep at my aunts house square in the head.  This evil sheep was so mean. When I would walk in the backyard to get my horse, this evil sheep would attack.  It would run so fast after you and butt its little stubby horns into my leg.  One day I was so tired of this so I punched it so hard in the head.  Needless to say, this evil sheep didn't seem to bother me anymore.

There was a time when I worked at the movie theater and I called my mom at at around 2:30a m.  I told her that I was at the police station and the movie theater had been robbed.  I told her that I would be home later after questioning.  She told me to not be too late!  ha ha   This was a scary night.  The man that robbed the theater came up to the concession stand with a rag over his mouth and said something that we couldn't understand.  We ingored him until he showed us a gun and said 'do what I tell you and no one will get hurt'  Ok -  We went upstairs in the theater where they kept the money. The guy tied us up in a big circle with duct tape and told us not to move.  he got away with tons of money that night.   Totally scary.  Glad that we did everything he said to do.

There was a time when overalls were in style. 

There was a time when I helped my friend cheat on a math test.  I gave him all of the answers.  I don't know why and I still feel bad that I gave him all of the answers.  I must have thought he was cool or something. 

There was a time that I got kicked out of one of my classes in high school for talking.  That was funny. 

There was a time that I wore see through shoes with glow in the dark soles.  Those were cool and matched everything.  Wish I would have kept them.  :)

There was a time when it was cool to where a upside down french braid in my hair that ended in a high ponytail.  I told Alysa that I could do her hair like this and I said it would be cool - she said "back then it was cool"  ha ha  

I never actually feel old.  I fell like I am frozen in time.  I feel like my kids age and I kinda stand still.  I was watching American Idol tonight and the singers were all born in a year that I remember. I realized tonight that I am older than I think I am.
