Cooking

Felix and I always plan a time that we can cook.   We make whatever we feel like making.  We make easy things, hard things and usually they take hours.   It seems like we use all of the dishes in the house and the kitchen by the end of the time is a serious disaster.   Today, we made Mac and Cheese and French Dip sandwiches.  It was super fast! because ..  I bought an Instapot.   It is a pressure cooker and it is amazing.   You can cook everything in the Instapot - roasts, chicken, rice, veges, lasagna, mashed potatoes, noodles.  Everything imaginable.  The Mac and Cheese took 5 minutes and the roast cooked fully in 40 minutes.   We were impressed by this gadget.   I truly love kitchen gadgets.   I have tons.   One for everything that I need to make.  

So, we made the Mac and Cheese first, but we should have cooked the roast first so we could have had them at the same time.  Lesson learned.  

When Felix and Rob come over we usually play Mario Party and  we have to dance on the Just Dance game.  We do the songs - Best Song Ever, Bang Bang and Looks so Perfect Standing there.   They are the best songs. We have competed every time they come over.  I came in 2nd on both Best Song Ever and Perfect!  Hooray me.   Alysa says that I look like I am doing Zumba and Rob laughs at me.  Rob makes us do our feet too and yells at us if we don't.     It is fun and we all drip with sweat while we are dancing.   I am so glad that they started coming over to cook and hang out.

P.S.  I need to work on something creative.   Maybe my books are calling.
