I made a list

I absolutely love lists.   I love lists of things to do.  I love lists of things to work on.  I love lists!  There is a list for everything.   Today I made of list of 5 things that needed to be done…

1.  2 loads of laundry.  I put one load in the washer and I never changed the load until after midnight. 

2.  read to the kids.   I didn’t get done with my work until 11:45 and the kids were already in bed.  Sad.  I love to read to the kids.  Summer is hard. 

3.  Take the kids to get snow cones.   I told the kids all day long that if they would make sure that their rooms were clean and the living room was clean I would take them all for snow cones.  They didn’t clean their rooms or the living room.  I should have taken them anyway.  

4.     Clean off the table by the phone.   I added about 5 things to the table, but I didn’t put anything away.   

5.     put the towels and blankets away in the closet.   I folded the towels and shoved them back in the little closet.  I need to organize my 3 closets so bad. 

As you can see, I didn’t do anything on my list.   I guess this list will carry over until tomorrow.   there is always tomorrow.  Oh well, one day at a time.
