swimming

I set up the pool today while the kids were at school.  I was excited for them to come home so they could swim.  Max got home first and looked outside and said “thank you so much mom!  this is the best day”  yeah for that.   Ryan got home and told Max that he was so excited for the swimming pool.   It was awesome.  I love kids.  I love the look on their face when they see something happy.   They called their friends and told them to come over with a swimming suit AND a towel.   A few friends came over.  I put Lyla in her swimming suit and we headed outside.   
i gave my kids each 1 towel.  the neighbor kids didn’t bring towels and they were shivering.  I was an ogre today about towels and wet kids coming in the house.   I just didn’t feel like having 6 boys in the house.  Sometimes we want to be the best mom and have a pool and supply treats and towels, but some grumpiness gets in the way.    Everyone is entitled to be grumpy.  Tomorrow I swear to be more patient with the neighbor kids.  Tomorrow…

I don’t know how to swim.  Water just zips up my nose whenever I try and go under the water.  i don’t like to swim because of this funny thing.
