So, last year on the day after Christmas, I ventured out and bought a fake Christmas Tree. Actually, I bought 2. I have been waiting and waiting for this Christmas so I could pull them out. I was tired of having a real tree. I didn’t want to wait for Eric to go and get it. I didn’t want to feel bad that I had a tree on the curb that wasn’t going to be used again. I usually try and wait for a while before I put the Christmas stuff up. Not this year.
The day after Thanksgiving, the Christmas stuff was going to be pulled out and put up. I wanted to put my tree up. I wanted to put the ornaments on it. I wanted to hang the stockings. I wanted to do all of this. yeah to the fake tree for getting me in the Christmas spirit.
It was a party. I put my ornaments on the tree and it looked so cute. then I felt bad, because Max said that his favorite part of decorating is getting out all of the “fun” ornaments. Oops.
Next year… next year..
Actually, Alysa made a contract up that said..
“I, ______ agree to put up all of the kids ornaments next year”. Ha ha
Merry Christmas. (so soon)
I love this picture. All of the kids are getting so so big. I can’t believe it!
