We promised the kids that we would go to Lagoon before school started. We were coming down to the last week before school started and had to head over to Lagoon. We found that there was a special that was buy one get one free, so we had to go. I don’t love Lagoon because I don’t really like rides and I hate to spend money at a place like Lagoon.
I did work at Lagoon when I was 16 for a few days. I hated every minute of it. I didn’t stay working there very long. Some of the reasons that I didn’t stay working at Lagoon were –
1. i had a boyfriend that for some reason I didn’t want to leave to go to work.
2. i had to wear a horrible apron.
3. i had to cook hot dogs and talk to sweaty people through a hot window.
4. i never worked with my friend who helped me get the horrible job.
5. i had to ride the bus to go to work because I didn’t have a car yet.
not sure why I ever chose to work at Lagoon.
Our day in pictures.
Yeah for a picture of me and the kids. I love my family.
I love this smile and the orange boat. Ryan loves the color orange and wants to always have something orange. This boat was a dream come true!
this face is so Ryan. He is such a fun kid.
Lyla was mad when I tried to put her on the whales. She just sat on this bench and pouted.
Max was in heaven at lagoon. He rode all of the big rides with Eric and LOVED everyone. I threw up at lagoon once when I was little. things were never the same after that!
Alysa is too tall for this ride. We sent her on with Lyla because she is just like me and doesn’t like rides.
Bulgy the whales were so much fun for Ry. I tried to make Lyla go, but she just cried.
Alysa and Ryan rode the skyride all by themselves. They rode away and I almost started crying. I didn’'t know what to think. They were big enough to ride the skyride without me. where has time gone and why are my kids so big!?
I absolutely love these pics of the kids.
We got ice cream and got the kids a double scoop. It was entirely too much ice cream for anyone. It was delicious.
Eric really didn’t eat all of this ice cream. I could have because it was so hot!
then it started to rain. it was clean and refreshing. Lyla played in the puddle for a while while we waited for the kids and Eric to go on a ride.
really… we had the best time. (even though I hate rides – I loved spending this time with us as a family)
It took Alysa forever to get her to go on puff. She claimed that she hated it and she didn’t want to go. we told her that if she went, then she could have 2 feathers in her hair. She got brave and went. After 1 time around the track, she was smiling with her arms up. maybe she is a ride person. My baby girl is just like me in some ways.
This was a fun day. We were all tired by the end of the day.

Great pics! Look like such a fun day. I'm glad there are other people who don't like rides. I'm with you on that. Enjoy the rest of your summer1
