Playing in the river. They have a river that is really close to the house. Thank goodness for the cool water. The heat wave was too hot... I even got in. I NEVER get in water. I don't love it.

Playing super heros in the back yard. Love it. All of the stuffed animals had their capes on too.

new webkins from the mall. Not only new webkins, but Jamba Juice and a cookie from Mrs. Fields. Yummy!

Go Max in the go-cart. He loves that thing

Chickens. There are 16 chickens that just roam the yard.

Ben with his too long hair. Get a haircut.

Owen's 4th birthday. Happy Birthday little buddy.

Eric and Max braved the cold water...

Then we pack up and head to the Great Wolf Lodge. This is a hotel/waterpark. It is really big and really fun.

This is Alysa with her "magic wand". At the Hotel, they had this game that all of the kids were playing that you take this wand and point it at pictures and such in the hotel and they move and talk. There is a game with it that you have to complete 10 quests and then you can become a master and then slay the dragon. We didn't have time to slay the dragon, maybe next time. This place was fun.

We headed out and went to Long Beach, WA. What a beautiful place. The weather was cool, the water was cold, there were lots of people and time to relax.

These are some whale bones that someone found and put together on display. It was cool to see how big it was.

My dad took all that wanted to go on a Salmon fishing adventure. See ANG's blog for the details of the fishing. I elected not to attend since I was really sick when we went to Hawaii Max was a trooper and was up with the big people at 4:30 am.
We ate dinner at this place the night before leaving. Delicious. Someone even commented on how well behaved the kids were. Hooray to that.
These are the sea lions on the dock. They just sit there. It was neat to see them in the natural environment.

This is the Astoria Bridge going into Oregon from WA. So pretty.

Now we are home. Back to our so called schedule in Utah. We have played with our friends, attended our piano lessons, visited Grandma Barbara and Lori, found a dog who had run away and kept it in our back yard until the owner came, we have even visited the dentist. Ry had cavities to fill and Alysa had a cleaning. She was so excited to have no cavities. We have gone on a few walks, rode our bikes too many times to count, harvested corn, cucumbers and zucchini from the garden. It is amazing how fast time goes by. I can't believe that it has already been a week since we have been home. I miss my family and Washington.
Oh and... Only 10 more days until school starts. I am excited.
