Biking

I never thought of myself as a biker of any sort. Eric bought me a bike and a bike trailer for my birthday so we could go on a ride as a family. At first, I thought that I was okay with this, but I wouldn't use it very often. Yesterday, we went for a ride on a simple trail - the buffalo trail by our house. The trail was 5 miles. Eric pulled the kids and Alysa and I rode our bikes. Alysa was complaining that she was tired and wanted to go home, but I can say that I really enjoyed the entire ride. We saw horses, birds, cows, a family of geese and a goat. Ryan fell asleep in the trailer with his helmet over his eyes. What a way to sleep! Max just enjoyed his ride in the trailer and hardly spoke a word. I think that I will go again and again as it was such a nice ride especially to enjoy the wildlife on the trail and enjoy my family. Hooray for the bike for my birthday that is brand new! Thanks Eric. Sorry, no pictures... my computer died over the weekend and they are on the other hard drive ---- so sad...
