Camping

Today I just had to smile at my kids. Alysa and Max came running into the kitchen while I was making dinner and asked for some marshmellows. I gave them the bag and continued what I was doing not thinking anything of it. Then Max came out a minute later and asked for sticks - then I began to wonder what they were doing. I went into Max's room and they had set the desk lamp up on the floor and turned the light facing up. They had blankets gathered around it. They were camping - roasting marshmellows. So cute! I walked in and Max said - "my marshmellow is really hot and it is almost burned". I loved how simple it was and they were having so much fun.

Wow? What a great idea. A camping trip in the winter. What great imaginations. I want to camp with them. I love you all.
